Richland Academy’s Summer Camp Programs are available to currently enrolled preprimary students, students enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year, and alumni up to 6 years old.
2017 Camp Information:
Each Summer Camp is a week-long program. Camp is not childcare. All classes will meet from 8:45 to 11:45 and will include activities in language arts, math, science, arts & crafts, games, and much more. Camp fees are $60.00 per week.
Before & After Summer Camp Childcare is available from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. throughout the summer. You must pre-register on Wednesday morning prior to each week of service. The cost is $4.50/hour or a half-day rate of $22.50/day.
Week One – June 5-9: Splash into Summer
Start summer off with a splash! Get wet and wild with spray bottles, water balloons, splash balls, a water table, and more!
Week 2 – June 12-16: Circus
Kick off the summer under the big top! Jump through hoops, walk the tight rope, and even get your face painted. Join us as we explore the world of the circus.
Week 3 – June 19- 23: Jungle
Get wild with excitement as we discover the mysteries of the jungle. Learn about the world of the jungle and the animals that live there.
Week 4 – June 26-30: Cooking with Kids
This is a yummy week! Snacks will be kid-created, and food will be sung about, read about, and used to make creative crafts.
Week 5 – July 10-14: Fairy Tales
Enter the land of make-believe as we explore some traditional tales. On our journey, we will meet lots of interesting characters and learn some character building lessons along the way.
Week 6 – July 17-21: Outer Space
Blast off with us into outer space! Join us as we circle the planets and spend a week among the stars. We will learn about our solar system and experience the magic the universe has to offer.
Week 7 – July 24-28: Super Heros
Blast off in your capes and superhero costumes! The children will have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite superhero and create their own superhero!

Week 8 – July 31-August 4: Theater
Bravo! Take a bow! Our little performers will spend the week acting, singing, dancing, and using puppets to put on a show.
Week 9 – August 7-10: Art Week
The children will be learning different ways they can create art. We will construct different masterpieces using a variety of materials such as paint, glue, paper-mache, string, clay, and more.
Week 10 – August 13-18: Pet Week
This week will be something to howl about. Join us as we learn about different pets, how to keep pets healthy, and have our 9th annual pet parade! We will be tie dying t-shirts to wear during the pet parade.
